Is it really free for players? The app is free and there is no player subscription. Paid sessions, events, and league registrations cost what the organizer charges, shown before you join.
When do I get paid? Earnings are calculated after applicable platform and payment processing fees. Depending on the payment flow, earnings may be recorded in your RecLynk wallet for withdrawal or settled through our payment processor. Availability and timing depend on the payment flow, account status, and any applicable holds. Check your in-app payment settings for available withdrawal options.
Are payment processing fees included in the 5%? No. RecLynk’s platform fee is 5% of each payment, rounded to the nearest cent and capped at $20 per payment. Our payment processor’s actual fees are separate and deducted from the seller’s earnings where applicable. Processing costs vary by payment method, currency, location, account, and transaction.
How does the $20 cap work with installments and renewals? The cap applies separately to each payment, including installments and membership or subscription renewals—not to the combined total of a registration, installment plan, or subscription. For example, one $1,000 payment has a $20 platform fee, while two $500 payments each have a $20 platform fee. Processing fees apply separately.
What if I cancel a session? Refunds are handled in the app, subject to the applicable cancellation policy and RecLynk’s Terms of Service. Seller earnings and platform fees may be adjusted when a payment is refunded or reversed. Our payment processor may retain processing costs.
